The shepherd's hut at this farm near Bassenthwaite Lake was a delight to stay in. the view from the hut was truly breathtaking, overlooking the serene lake and majestic fells. the hut was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils, a cozy bed with heating, and even ironing facilities for those who like to keep their clothes crisp. the outdoor area with a bench and fire pit was a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the option to purchase a fire set for a small fee added a nice touch to the overall experience. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby walking trails and nearby attractions. Overall, the shepherd's hut offered a wonderful balance of comfort and affordability. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful countryside.
